Duncan and I were out wandering around NW Portland on Saturday, and we came across this lovely old relic amid the hills and trees. We were talking about how the light could be so much better, but I don’t know when I’ll be back. So a snapshot will suffice for now…
I like it. Looks almost HDRish. Really like how the vibrant green contrasts with the old brick and wood.
Thanks, Mike — it is a tone-mapped image from a single Raw file. I played around with the main image in Lightroom, but wanted it to pop a bit more, so I built three images from the original.
