  1. How have you liked the RX1 for outdoor, non-portrait photos? From your photos it seems to have an incredible amount of contrast and detail.

    This is another beautiful shot, I miss the Oregon coast.

      I’ve been pretty amazed overall with the RX1 for almost everything I’ve thrown at it. There are a couple of other landscape images I’m working on that I really like; I’m hoping to get them up here in the next few days. (I’ve posted more stuff on flickr than here: you can check out my RX1 set for more.

      There is an amazing amount of detail in these images, and the dynamic range is excellent. It really seems that the combination of the lens and sensor on this camera feels like buttah.

      I took my D800 with me to the Coast, and got some images I liked, but I would have been fine with just the RX1 on this trip.

  2. Lovely shot but boy, I can almost feel the cold sea air from here.

    I love the soft yet sharp feel of this image/processing. In my mind, that’s your signature style.
